Welcome to WatchLess ("the App," "Service," or "Platform"), a product of Forge Labs LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use WatchLess on any platform, including iOS and Android. By using WatchLess, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication credentials via Apple ID, Google, or email.
Support Communications: Any information submitted via support tickets or feedback.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data: Features used (Overview, Deep Dive, Visual Intelligence), content viewed, and navigation patterns.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version, and timezone.
Identifiers & Anti-Abuse Data: To ensure fair use of our resource-based economy and prevent credit-gift abuse, we collect Unique Device Identifiers (such as Apple's IDFV). This allows us to track credit allocations per device and prevent fraudulent account creation.
Log Data: Diagnostic information and crash reports to improve stability.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect or store payment card information. All billing is handled securely by Apple's App Store and RevenueCat.
We do not access your private YouTube account data, playlists, or viewing history beyond the specific URLs you provide for analysis.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Operate and provide the WatchLess Service.
Manage our Credit Economy: Track and deduct credits for AI analysis and manage anti-abuse protocols.
Improve the Service through analysis of usage patterns and diagnostics.
Communicate updates and promotions (you may opt out at any time).
Enforce our Terms of Service and protect the security of the Platform.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We work with trusted partners to provide the Service:

Supabase: Backend database and storage.
RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase lifecycle management.
Neural Intelligence Engine Providers: We share YouTube URLs and transcript data with third-party AI providers (including Google Vertex AI) to generate insights. Personal account information is never shared with AI providers.
ElevenLabs: Text-to-speech generation (no personal data shared).

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Forge Labs LLC and our users.

5. AI Processing and Visual Intelligence

WatchLess utilizes advanced multimodal AI to analyze video content. When you use the "Visual Intelligence" agent, our system scans publicly available video frames and audio. This process is used strictly to generate the research report requested by you. We do not use your personal data or your provided URLs to train third-party AI models.

6. YouTube & Third-Party Services

WatchLess uses third-party APIs to retrieve publicly available video data. WatchLess is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of YouTube or Google. All analyzed content is subject to the privacy practices of the respective content platforms.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account via the in-app settings, all personal data will be purged from our active databases within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or fraud prevention purposes (e.g., device-level credit gift history).

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to:

Access your personal data.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your account and associated data.
Opt-Out of marketing communications.

9. Children's Privacy

WatchLess is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS) and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email.
